Earn a tax incentive
when you improve your home’s energy efficiency.
As part of the Inflation Reduction Act, you can earn up to 30% tax incentive worth up to $1,200 for making energy efficient home improvements. And, yes, home insulation qualifies for this incentive.*
This tax incentive was implemented by the federal government to provide incentives for homeowners to make energy-efficiency home improvements. The incentive is intended to help offset the cost of these upgrades, can be claimed on your annual tax return and may reduce the federal taxes you pay as a homeowner.
Tax Incentive Details
Consumers will need to complete IRS Form 5695 and have a copy of any USA Insulation™ contracts for tax purposes. Remember, the insulation must have been "placed into service" during the taxable year to qualify as a Tax Incentive. Please make sure you consult your tax advisor for any questions.
