WHY RE-INSULATE
YOUR HOME?

You think your home is insulated, but is it?

Here’s a telltale sign. If your home was built before 1980, that automatically makes you one of the 77 million Americans whose homes are insufficiently insulated, if they are insulated at all. Prior to 1980, there were no building codes for insulation minimums. And even if your home was built after 1980, the standards for insulation have consistently changed over the years. The required insulation decades ago may not meet code today, which means it would be worth doing an insulation inspection.

How else can you tell if you need insulation? Answer these questions:

If you answer “Yes” to any of the questions below, we may be able to help. Let us do a home insulation inspection so you can know for sure.

  • Is your home too hot and stuffy in the summer?
  • Is it too cold in the winter?
  • Are your energy bills higher than expected?
  • Do your allergies flare up when you are IN your house?
  • Is the upper floor 5-10 degrees hotter than the main floor in summer…colder than the main floor in winter?
  • Are some rooms in your home a different temperature than others, even on the same floor?
  • Do you feel drafts in certain rooms?
  • Does your air conditioner work overtime in summer?
  • Does your furnace seem like it never gets a break in the winter?
  • Do you keep fidgeting with the thermostat to keep your home at a comfortable temperature?
  • Are outside noises such as barking dogs, lawn mowers and traffic bothersome when you are inside?
  • Does your roof collect dangerous icicles and ice dams in sub-freezing weather?
  • Are you using portable heaters, extra blankets, and wearing an extra layer of clothing during the winter months?
  • Are you turning on fans, buying window A/C units, and sleeping without sheets or blankets during the summer?
  • Are you considering getting a new A/C unit, furnace or windows with the hope that it will help you feel more comfortable in your home?
  • Are you able to see the floor joists in the attic?
  • Was your home built before 1980 when insulation was first required in new homes?

You checked all of the boxes. Continue on.

Our home insulation inspection takes multiple factors into consideration:

  • Your energy consumption
  • Your heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system (HVAC)
  • Your geographical region and climate
  • Your home’s dimensions

“We had a problem with a hole being created in my ceiling as the result of an accident. It was handled courteously and professionally.”

Jim E., Atlanta, GA

“We have an older home that needed insulation badly. We were going to get 3 quotes but decided on USA after just one additional quote because of the sales team presentation, no pressure offers and competitive pricing. The sales team was on point with discounts, scheduling and payment options. The install team were also informative, explained the process, would engage me if an issue was discovered and work with me for resolution. In fact we order the attic door cover and it was to small to install but the team explained the situation and advised that the issue would be resolved within the week. A few hours after the install the owner called to follow up on my satisfaction and to reschedule the install of the door cover. They even installed some additional batting over my attic fan not because it would have any actually effect on the r-rating but because I ask. Good choice on our part! Very competitive pricing, great follow-up. All in all a very good experience.”

Richard R., Lawrenceville, GA

“I have seen a significant improvement in the temperature of the house. It is much warmer so the heater doesn't have to work as hard and it is saving us money.”

Chris V., Sunny Side, GA

“From the time Jesse walked in the door to the time the installation was done and they drove away, I could not have had a better experience with a group of business professionals. I would highly recommend this company for any type of insulation project.”

Prudence L., Winston, GA
