Attic Insulation is Essential for
Comfort in Atlanta, GA

In many Atlanta homes, attics are the areas most lacking proper insulation. Without sufficient insulation and ventilation, your attic allows conditioned air to escape rapidly, making it harder—and more costly—to maintain a comfortable temperature throughout winter and summer. Besides heat loss in the colder months, an inadequately insulated attic can lead to ice dams, icicles, and mold growth, creating health and safety risks for your family and damaging your home.

The U.S. Department of Energy advises homeowners to maintain specific depths of blown-in attic insulation, which vary by climate zone. If your attic's insulation falls short of these recommendations, our insulation experts in Atlanta are here to help improve your home's comfort and efficiency.

The Attic Insulation
Installation Process

Curious about what to expect? Here's a simple overview of our smooth installation process.

Step 1

Before our team arrives, please ensure a clear path to your attic entrance.

Step 2

We begin by inspecting your current attic insulation type and depth to determine the best approach for boosting your home's energy efficiency.

Step 3

If any baffles are missing or improperly installed, we'll add them between all cavities connected to the soffits. This ensures proper ventilation, allowing air to flow smoothly over the insulation without disruption.

Step 4

With ventilation in place, we apply our blown-in insulation until we reach the ideal depth, or R-Value, to maximize your attic's efficiency.
