EmPower Plus - Tier 3
- Most homeowners qualify in the greater Syracuse area.
- This plan provides those who qualify with a discount covering 50% of the cost of eligible energy efficiency improvements up to $5,000 per project for single-family homes.
- Two- to four-unit residential homes with income-eligible residents may qualify for a discount of up to $10,000.

Smart Energy Loan
- The Smart Energy Loan is an unsecured loan option offered through New York State for homeowners, with interest rate starting as low as 3.49%.
- The minimum amount that can be financed is $1,500.00 with a maximum amount of $25,000.00 with loan terms of 5, 10, or 15 years with no early pay off penalty.
