EmPower PLUS - Tier 1
- EmPower PLUS Tier 1 provides no-cost energy efficiency solutions to income-eligible New Yorkers.
- Nearly 160,000 of your neighbors are saving energy and saving money with EmPower New York — without spending a dime.
- We can assess if your home would benefit from free attic, wall and basement insulation.
EmPower Plus - Tier 3
- Most homeowners qualify in the greater Rochester area.
- This plan provides those who qualify with a discount up to $5,000 per project for single-family homes.
- Two- to four-unit residential homes with income-eligible residents may qualify for a discount of up to $10,000.
NYSERDA Comfort Home Program
Comfort Home is not based off of income. It is a package-based program that can save you money on your new insulation project!
Smart Energy Loan
- The Smart Energy Loan is an unsecured loan option offered through New York State for homeowners, with interest rate starting as low as 3.49%.
- The minimum amount that can be financed is $1,500.00 with a maximum amount of $25,000.00 with loan terms of 5, 10, or 15 years with no early pay off penalty.
