Insulation Tax Credit
Information

Earn a tax incentive
when you improve your home’s energy efficiency.

As part of the Inflation Reduction Act, you can earn up to 30% tax incentive worth up to $1,200 for making energy efficient home improvements. And, yes, home insulation qualifies for this incentive.*

This tax incentive was implemented by the federal government to provide incentives for homeowners to make energy-efficiency home improvements. The incentive is intended to help offset the cost of these upgrades, can be claimed on your annual tax return and may reduce the federal taxes you pay as a homeowner.
