Military personnel and first responders put their lives on the line every day to protect and serve their communities and nation. Their roles centralize on the values of duty, honor, and selflessness. Serving them is a way to honor, recognize, and show gratitude for their sacrifices and dedication.

In addition, by serving military personnel and first responders, we also extend our support to their families, who often endure periods of separation, uncertainty, and sacrifice. Recognizing and assisting their families reinforces the strength of our support network, ensuring that those who serve are embraced by the love and care of their communities.

The Hometown Hero program began in 2018 in Toledo, Ohio, recognizing a hometown hero - an active-duty, reserve, veteran member of the armed forces or first responder - with a whole-home insulation package from USA Insulation.

Since 2018, we have expanded to 4 cities across the country, donated over $45,000 of insulation materials and over 600 labor hours to local military families. The Hometown Heroes giveaway is an opportunity for participating USA Insulation location to give back to those individuals in the community who make a difference. In 2024, we have plans to expand to several more cities, including here in the Twin Cities Metro Area.

Having family, friends, and fellow community members who serve as military personnel and first responders creates a personal connection and a sense of duty to support others in our community. We're grateful for all they do, and it's our honor to stand by them.
