USA Insulation installation Crew Leaders enjoy year-round employment and variety in the work they do; each day is spent at a different location. A Crew Leader’s job is to lead a team of 2-3 installers, servicing both residential and commercial buildings by installing various USA Insulation products. The crew leader position is responsible for ensuring the homeowner is happy with our service and all tasks related to the installation have been completed with excellence.

Job Description

Reports To:

Owner/Operator

Position Summary:
  • Perform Pre-Shift meetings with installers to direct team to separate jobs
  • To lead a team of installers in the day-to-day installation of insulation and customer service
  • To install foam insulation in walls of existing residential homes
  • To install loose fiberglass insulation or batt insulation in Attic, Crawl-Space, or other areas of home
  • To install ventilation and other peripheral products in homes
  • To schedule Service Calls to meet the schedule of the homeowner and USA Insulation
  • To inventory all materials, parts and misc.
  • Order to replenish any and all materials, parts, etc.
  • To Train new and existing on all facets of insulation installation
Compensation

Essential Functions:
  • Strong Team Communication Skills
  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Thorough knowledge of foam installation equipment
  • Ability to maintain, troubleshoot and correct any mechanical problem with any and all insulation installation equipment
  • May work in attics, basements, and crawl spaces
  • Ability to work in extreme cold and extreme heat
  • Ability to work on ladders (up to 28ft) and work with hand tools
  • Ability to count and collect money Educate customers on service features and installation
  • Educate installers on any and all insulation installation techniques
  • Schedule Service calls as needed
  • Track inventory of parts and materials and inform owner/operator when time to reorder
  • Keep home clean during and after installation (inside and out)
  • Pride yourself on high-quality work and do the job right the first time
  • Provide all customers with excellent customer service
  • Understand home construction including but not exclusive to siding removal, brick drilling, shingle removal, wood drilling and all areas of wall & attic installation
  • Follow all Policies and Procedures of USA Insulation while on duty
  • Perform any and all other functions or tasks assigned by the Owner/Operator
Status Scope:
  • Must have Valid State Drivers License
  • Non-negligent driving record
  • Must be able to read and write
  • Must be able to speak English
  • Physical exam (275 lbs. weight limit in working clothes & Safety Gear)
  • Able to lift and move up to 80 lbs.
  • Possess good organization and verbal communication skills
Qualifications:
