In Home Sales Consultant

Reports To:

Owner / Operator

Position Summary:

To sell all products and services provided by USA Insulation.
To represent the company in a professional manner and preserve the customer service philosophy of USA Insulation.

Compensation:

Compensation and job satisfaction for our employees are critical elements to our USA Insulation family. These items will be discussed in great detail during your face to face interview with the owner.

Essential Functions:

Understand the installation process as it pertains to the Sales role
Understand and apply the USA Insulation Sales Process (Pitch Book, Sales Video, Sales Handbook, etc.)
Learn all details of the USA Insulation Pitch Book and apply in Sales role
Meet homeowners at pre-set appointments between the hours of 10AM and 8PM. Allow for frequent Evenings and Saturday appointments.
Meet homeowners for “write-ups” to meet the homeowner’s schedule
Write-up contract per USA Insulation specifications
Take pictures of the work to be performed per USA Insulation specifications. Pictures to be printed and displayed with contract for installers
Responsible for the collection of the financial down-payment prior to work and balance of payment at completion of job
Contact HVAC Professionals & Roofers as a referral source
Contact all previous customers as a referral source
Call-in all schedule dates when job is sold
Visit homeowner and crew on install date
Learn and use the USA 360 system online and at Estimate. Follow all Policies and Procedures of USA Insulation while on duty. Other responsibilities and functions might be required. Ask our team if interviewed.

Status Scope:

All USA Insulation Sales Representatives will report directly to the Owner/Operator. Sales Representatives are considered “vendors”, NOT direct employees of the company and will be paid by 1099 Form.
Must have car and/or means to drive to all appointments

Qualifications:

1-3 years of previous Sales experience in related field
High School diploma or equivalent

Installation Technician

Reports To:

Crew Cheif / Foreman

Position Summary:

To install foam insulation in walls of existing homes.
To install loose fiberglass insulation or batt insulation in Attic, Crawl-Space, or other areas of home.
To install ventilation and other peripheral products in homes.
To perform service calls as directed by the Foreman or Owner/Operator.

Essential Functions:

Ability to work in attics, basements, and crawl spaces
Ability to work in extreme cold and extreme heat
Able to work on ladders (up to 28ft)
Able to work with hand tools
Able to count and handle money
Able to work with drills, pumps and all equipment necessary for installing insulation
Keep home clean during and after installation (inside and out)
Educate customers on service and installation features
Pride self on high-quality installations and do the job right the first time
Provide all customers with excellent customer service
Follow all Policies and Procedures of USA Insulation while on duty
Perform any and all other functions or tasks assigned by the Crew Chief and Owner/Operator

Status Scope:

Must have Valid State Drivers License
Non-negligent driving record
Must be able to read and write
Must be able to count and collect money
Must be able to speak English
Physical exam (275 lbs. weight limit in working clothes & Safety Gear)
Able to lift and move up to 80 lbs.
Installers must possess good organization and verbal communication skills

Qualifications:

No “insulation” experience required, however preferred
Commitment to Customer Service
Working knowledge of Siding, home building, drills, pumps, and hand tools
Ability to troubleshoot product and installation problems

Crew Chief / Foreman

Reports To:

Owner / Operator

Position Summary:

Perform Pre-Shift meetings with installers to direct team to separate jobs.
To lead a team of installers in the day-to-day installation of insulation and customer service To install foam insulation in walls of existing residential homes.
To install loose fiberglass insulation or batt insulation in Attic, Crawl-Space, or other areas of home.
To install ventilation and other peripheral products in homes.
To schedule Service Calls to meet the schedule of the homeowner and USA Insulation
To Inventory all materials, parts and misc. Order to replenish any and all materials, parts, etc.
To Train new and existing on all facets of insulation installation

Ability to maintain, troubleshoot and correct any mechanical problem with any and all insulation installation equipment

Understand home construction including but not exclusive to siding removal, brick drilling, shingle removal, wood drilling and all areas of wall & attic installation.

Administrative Assistant

Reports To:

Owner / Operator

Position Summary:

To assist in the overall assistance and maintenance of the office.
To perform all administrative duties set forth in this Job Description to ensure the success of the USA Insulation Franchise.

Essential Functions:

Ability to answer 5-line phone
Take calls, messages and perform all related phone system tasks
Maintain office supplies and equipment
Set up and maintain varied office files of records, reports and correspondence required for reference and efficient operation of office; maintain logs and records of office activities; compile and summarize information for regular or special reports from a variety of sources
Type letters, reports, e-correspondence and other related forms from rough draft, notes, recordings or corrected copy ensuring correctness in format, spelling and grammar as requested by supervisor
Operate office equipment: PC, typewriter, copier, fax, printer, calculator, etc. and proficiently use software including all Microsoft Office Applications, Internet, electronic-mail and e-calendar programs such as Outlook.
Obtain referrals for Sales Reps
Manage call-ins for and set appointments for Sales Representatives. When calls come in for estimates, write all relevant information on “Lead Sheet” and indicate area and time on wipe-board Enter all Sales information on Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet
Enter and track all Lead information in Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet Send Customer Satisfaction surveys to all previous customers on a bi-weekly basis
Send letters and Customer Surveys to previous customers
Screen, sort and distribute mail and documents; determine which items to respond to independently or which to bring to supervisor’s attention based on content of communication and knowledge of office and programmatic activities. Process outgoing mail and ship express packages as required
Re-Order any supplies, parts, or materials at owner/operator’s request
Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable via Quickbooks
Payroll via Quickbooks, ADP or Paychex
Follow all Policies and Procedures of USA Insulation while on duty
Perform any and all other functions or tasks assigned by the department manager
